Preschool Happenings: Sheep Pasture, Halloween, Updated Snack Menu

Fun times and lots of learning continue at Bright Stars Preschool!

Sheep Pasture Field Trip

Our students enjoyed a field trip to NRT’s Sheep Pasture.  They fed the chickens and visited with a cow, goats, mini horses, a rabbit, and of course the sheep.  They were learned how wool is made into clothing and each got to make a wool bracelet to take home.  (We were told that it might not last the day but one child had hers for a week!)  IMG_2392 IMG_2393 IMG_2394 IMG_2395 IMG_2396 IMG_2397 IMG_2398 IMG_2399 IMG_2400 IMG_2401 IMG_2402 IMG_2403 IMG_2404 IMG_2405 IMG_2407 IMG_2409 IMG_2410 IMG_2413 IMG_2414 IMG_2415

Halloween Party

We had our costume party on Friday and had many shared giggles when our students tried to eat donuts from a string and shook their “tail” to Halloween Music.  They brought home a special gift gift ( which included new toothbrush kits) and a lot of great artwork they had worked on during the week.

Snack Menu Updated

Bright Stars Preschool has an updated snack menu labelled “week 5” of our cycle menu.   We think this menu is pretty cool and will be using it once a month.
